Biography
"To progress in the darkness of the indefinite". This sentence, taken from one of the tracks of Vulpes Vulpes, sums up the exploratory attitude of the Geneva based trio, which is constantly looking for new sounds. One necessary condition however: it has to groove. Funk, soul, rock, punk, electro mix together in dynamic and surprising set-lists, sprinkled with philosophical statements in french and english. It’s fair to say you won't have time to get bored.
In 2017, after playing in several punk, hardcore punk and garage bands, singer-guitarist Nataniel Mendoza proposed to his childhood friend, Zacharie Frésard to join him behind the drums to set up a new musical project whose only constraint was "not to do punk or metal". At the end of 2021, Daniel Gomez joined the band on bass, bringing his knowledge of latin rhythms and andean folklore. A new arrow in the bow of Vulpes Vulpes.
