Victor Jaquier

Biography

Victor Jaquier is a musician and director. Alongside his production of music videos, short films and cartoons, in 2018 he created the new-wave group Chyldren. He is the composer and guitarist, and vinyls are released via the Swiss label Inhumano.
During 2023, he began working on his solo project, for which he took on the role of singer. After an artistic residency on the island of Groix in Brittany, a first EP is taking shape. The first half of 2024 will see the release of a single, Peggy, to officially launch the project on the platforms. This single humorously explores the theme of pegging, or how to evoke through danceable pop, the story of a woman wishing to penetrate her partner, a little-discussed subject of male sexuality.
Victor is currently rehearsing his live repertoire for the first concerts in 2024, accompanied by Fanny Libereau and Fanny Van Dijk, on keyboard and guitar. The first EP will be released in the second part of 2024.
