Biography

Toushar consists of Remo Häberli (Posthuman Bigbang, Weak Tyrant) and Philipp Thöni (Pless, Unhold), a full band is coming to shape – live incarnation in ’23.
As a first signal 6 singles will be released over the course of '22/'23, leading up to a physical reöease in '23.
Toushar begins with an idea, a sequence of motions. Stemming from an urge to write music and witness it coming to life, implementing it into the real world. An inkling of a start, the hint of a transition, the premonition of an ending. From there Toushar builds back or forth, until the piece reveals its final form. Drawing from a passion for the vast amplitude of metal and rock genres over the last decades and an inclination for electronic soundscapes and club music serving as a foundation. Celestial bodies orbiting each other after an initial collision, occasionally emerging from the dark inner abyss to give birth to a new star. To obtain gravitational forcefields with stellar elegance. Colliding matter and fusing emotions. Verbalizing and expressing inner proceedings, wrestling with demons and obscure protagonists.
