The Girl is an English/Irish/Nigerian & Spanish boy-girl duo who met while living in Barcelona. Their songs - in a style they call "Electro-romance" - are an energetic cocktail of influences: from late 70's disco, early 80's funk-soul & boogie, the romantic, well-heeled & big-voiced US soul & pop of the mid 80's, to the early/mid 90's house scene & effervescent grooves of the "French touch"
