The Boogie Heads

Biographie

The Boogie Heads are vintage Blues Boogie Rock band based on a 2017 line-up gathered by Charlie Gilbert. Prior to that, the band was known as Charlie Gilbert & The Rockin’ Bluesmen (2014-2016), then as Charlie Gilbert & The Boogie Heads (2017-2020). The return to a 4-piece guitar band in 2021 prompted their name to be shortened to THE BOOGIE HEADS.

The Boogie Heads are Charlie Gilbert, vocals and guitar; Charlie G, lead guitar; Angelo Oliva, drums and Claude Maître, bass. All musicians have a tremendous experience and were exposed to rock and blues music since the 70’s.

Drawing their influences from Chicago electric Blues and late 60’s Rock, The Boogie Heads can deliver powerful and extended concerts, late into the night. Their music ranks from slow blues to upbeat boogie Rocks, own songs or tortuous covers. The Boogie Heads are more than ever ready to SHAKE YOU EVENING !
