Biographie

I am the Events and music promoter for Getty Holdings AG. We currently have multiple establishments in Switzerland between Basel and Luzern. Our latest project is establishing the Jailhouse in Luzern as a new venue for live music.

The Jailhouse is literally the old prison that has been converted into a hotel, bar and restaurant. Getty Holdings AG has just acquired this establishment, and we are in the process of creating the large hall that is currently sitting empty into a second performance space with a proper stage that will now allow both of our areas to accommodate between 400 and 800 people. In addition, we are implementing a “green room” space backstage to give the artists that play at Jailhouse a place offstage to prepare/warm-up, “chill” in between sets, have a quiet zone, etc. This can also be arranged as a session room that will have the availability for live internet streaming and exclusive radio play.

Our other existing establishments are “Shine” and “Xalisca” in Luzern and in Basel we have another rock bar called “Redrocks” in a few week we will also be acquiring a venue that will host 1500 guests in Thun.

This gives us the ability to be flexible with the venues and even arrange mini tour or “back to back” sessions in Switzerland.

I know artists have a busy schedule but we are planning a grand launch of the Jailhouse and in particular would like to invite local bands and mainstream bands to play Blues, Jazz and Rock and would be delighted if we could arrange bands to join us for these exciting events as soon as possible.
