Biography

The spirit has been withering since the year 2000, from when a huge amount of Swiss gigs have been played... Through the years, the band had the chance to perform as supporting act for Blaze Bayley, VADER, Rotting Christ, Pro-Pain,Illdisposed.

The shows led Soulline to win the W:O:A Swiss Metal Battle ’08, Bern, and to perform at Wacken Open Air with Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Carcass, At the Gates and many more, on august the same year.

In May-June 2010 the band plays the first tour through Belarus, Ukraine, Moldavia and Russian Federation headlined by polish death metal masters VADER!

The second album "The Struggle, the Self and Inanity" is published in October 2010 just before starting the Aealo Tour supporting Rotting Christ in the East Europe.

In 2011 Soulline plays another tour in Europe supporting Pro-Pain.
In 2012, Soulline published the third Album "We Curse, We Trust", mixed by Peter Tagtgren (Pain, Hypocrisy) presented during a German Tour in June 2012.

The music of the band leads to a certain open-mindedness and keeps at its heart the link to any feeling or sensation that constitute human being. Melody. Depression. Madness. Banality. Happiness. Delusion. Poetry. Aggressiveness. Hope. Needs. Addiction. Redemption.
