Marco Santilli (clarinet, bass clarinet, compositions)
Ivan Tibolla (piano, organ, compositions)
"The picture of a table with two empty chairs recalls an absence, an emptiness to be filled. Doesn't music also speak to us of this emptiness and of the dignity with which things abandoned before us can speak to us? Music offers us clues to truth, it touches us where the 'informative' word cannot reach, it can compensate us for absence, for emptiness. Thus the curse of the pandemic, which has emptied the calli and campi of Venice with its contagion, has become, thanks also to music, a detonator of potential, a reflection on the value of presence and absence. Here are two musicians, who through the written note and the improvised note try to inhabit and frequent an inner landscape, to recall a sense, so that the void is not just an absence of content."
