Ruined started out as a solo project in 2019 in Glarus and ended up as a 4 piece band at the start of the pandemic in 2020 with members of White Dog Suicide, Lifecrusher and Cage.

After a promising start in early 2020, which they got to open for Turnover (US) in Schüür, the pandemic forced to put any further live concerts on hold. Therefore, they decided to write new music. After 2 EP's and an autumn promo (recorded at the legendary Stationhouse in Leeds) they released their first full length LP "Everything is" in March 2022.
