Revolting Puppets - a band, a story, an underground movement. Somewhere between fiction
and reality. A sound, as unique as their looks. Distorted electro synths meet electric guitars,
Cyber meets Punk. No computerized fixed beats, all live and rough. A wide spectrum, from
heavy Electro Punk, to rhythmic sounds and even sometimes quiet songs that touch the heart.
Seen them once, you will hardly forget them. The outfits: electronic scrap paired with a glowing
mohawk and cyber-goggles, speak for themselves. They show another side of technology,
far from elegance. A side, that we rarely get to see these days, fitting into a world of steady
growing high tech and low live.

The story:
Revolting Puppets are more than just a band. They are an underground movement in a fictional
world. A world, where a corporation named «M» became so powerful, that they took
over politics and state. In this «new world» any form of intellectual content became forbidden.
«Happy thoughts only» was the credo and any violation of this law would be punished with all
force.
Resistance against the «M-pire» is growing underground, by an organization called «Revolting
Puppets», delivering the people with forbidden goods: Books, Movies and Music.
Since the «dealers» are punished harder than the «users»they have to live in disguise and
work under pseudonyms.

Behind the band
The story around Revolting Puppets is in constant development by its founders, with many
elements resembling the world we live in today. In some cases we already live in scenarios,
predicted by Cyberpunk in the early 80ies. Some may still be highly exaggerated, but maybe
exactly for this reason, they are worth thinking about.
The four founders: Zuloid (guitar), Tetsuo (vocals), Dr. Braindead (synth bass) and Looper
(drums) play int this formation since 2014. But there are many members of Revolting Puppets,
just like in their story, that support and develop the project further on.
