Biography

Bringing Reggae music, vibes & Soul. Inspired by the messages brought by artists such as The Wailers, Culture, Third World, Lucky Dube...
Redemption Soul is an organic roots/reggae sound infused with soulful melodies & uplifting lyrics...

Following a few shows in Germany, England, France & Switzerland, early 2020 we went for one month tour in Casamance, Senegal & in The Gambia.
Since then, we mostly been working on our debut album, performing a few shows between France, Switzerland & the U.K.
Preparing to return for a broader West African tour, March 2024...
We are set for an exciting year ahead with the release of our debut album (gradually up to June 2024)).
Previously released : “Oh Afreeka", "We all are witnesses", "Mon Amour” are available on all digital platforms.
We also collaborated on some “one riddim” releases: “My vibration” produced by Full Force Click Muzik (heard on BBC one xtra) and “Father to the Fatherless” produced by The Mighty All Stars band(UK).

OUR LIVE STAGE SHOW IS A REGGAE EXPERIENCE MIXING OUR ORIGINAL SONGS WITH SOME GREAT STANDARDS. ALONGSIDE A LIVE BAND OR A BACKING DJ.

Gemma, Redemption Soul’s songstress, started to sing professionally in hotels across Spain from a young age. She later joined the London community gospel choir.
Since then, she’s performing a “Tribute Show” to Whitney Houston.

Babakar Fall was a reggae Dj for 15 years, backing singers such as Tonton David, Dub Inc, Jah Cure..,
entertaining clubs & festivals (Musique et Vie_Senegal, Jamaican Sunrise_France...) throughout Europe & West Africa.

Jo Red is a soundman & engineer as well as a Reggae dictionary. He created & crafted Roots/Dub sound system dedicated preamps.
He’s checking on every step of Redemption Soul, mostly active in the finalisation process.
