Biography

Pedrillow: Melancholic fireworks rooted in club music.

Two bernese musicians get together to conquer the clubs. The singer Laura Wiesmann has been active for a long time in the swiss music scene (Hobbitz, Brothertunes, Bligg) and especially in the electronic music scene she is no stranger: Apart from her main project "Wiesage" (Deep House Duo) you can hear her on many productions (We Love Machines, Kellerkind, Patrick Podage, Cause4Concern). Olivier Zurkirchen’s passion is in Sound Design. He plays the keyboards in various bands (Domi Chansorn, pommelHORSE), leads his own jazz groups (Olivier Zurkirchen Ten, Robot Robot) and is producing electronic music under his own name ranging from Techno to Avant-Garde.

In mid 2014 the two good friends started to experiment with new musical ideas: Pedrillow was born. Olivier Zurkirchen uses traditional electronic music elements and gives them an experimental touch. The soulful vocals of Laura Wiesmann complement these productions perfectly. Pedrillow is the result of two individual visions merging in intensive cooperation. They create electronic music with no stylistic restrictions and much passion for detail.
