Biography

Organic, thrilling, otherworldly: A sonic universe of rumbling sub-basses, clever audio design and, at times, gloomy and dystopian landscapes. Meticulous electronic music that draws on beat-driven electronica and vibrant ambient.

While officiating as a drummer for various Swiss indie bands, numeral has developed his own production methods and sound aesthetic throughout the years. In his personal work prevail sometimes dark atmospheres, sometimes luminous melodies. An inclination to distort, disassemble, modify sounds with great attention to details: this is what gives numeral’s apocalyptic sound its full magnitude.

Having unveiled two EP productions, crafting remixes for both Swiss and international artists, and gracing diverse live stages since 2020, numeral dedicated the summer of 2023 to working on new sonic material in Berlin.

Recent releases, including the remix for the UK-based producer BRECON and the standalone track HIDEOUS, affirm the inclination to blend atmospheric pads with driving beats, incorporating an unconventional fusion of acoustic and electronic instruments. The ensuing blend of ambient and electronica beckons you to revel in a night of dance and sonic enchantment.
