Biography

Noise in Myself (NIM) is a very young Italian-Swiss band, born from an Enea Maina’s idea. Enea is a guitarist and composer from the Lugano region, where he was born in 2004.
Enea begins to compose riffs and lyrics during summer of 2020 and come then into contact with Martina Pedrotti (Swiss, voice and transverse flute, born in 2005). The search for further members for the band leads to the entry into the line-up of Leon Sürder (Swiss, electric guitar, born in 2008) and of the two brothers Gabriele (bass and backing vocals, born in 2005) and Damiano Palmeri (drums, born in 2003), both Italians and residing within a few kilometers from the bandmates.
After some moths of remote work due to the pandemic restrictions, the band can finally rehearse the songs in person, arrange them and shape them. The band works hard and completes 10 tracks by the end of summer, so they successfully perform 3 times in Ticino clubs between August and November 2021.
The band keeps pushing during winter and records the debut album, released on all major platforms by Wanikiya Record-Promotion in April 2022.
Meanwhile, the bassist Gabriele leale the band and Federico Morello (Swiss and Italian, born in 1994) joins the formation taking his place.
The band has the opportunity to permorm live several times during summer 2022, playing some new songs and kicking off work on the second album.
