Nearly Away

Nearly Away is a non-traditional rock band that came to life in Jackson, Tennessee. It is non-traditional in the sense that it is almost exclusively created by one person – Matt Huber, a native of Switzerland residing in the US. With the assistance of Bo Kitzman (drums - US) and Elliot Bentzen (guest vocals and lyrics - Switzerland), Matt is able to create Nearly Away’s signature sound by having a hand in everything. Matt writes the music, plays guitar, bass, keyboard, and whatever else the song asks for. He also records (having his own studio), produces, and arranges the songs. The style of Nearly Away is non-pretentious – Nearly Away is not trying to be anything it is not. Although based in rock, Nearly Away lets the creative process dictate the final sound of its songs.
