Biography
At the age of 12 I was selected for a special music talent program.
At the age of 13 I had several opportunities to sing and act in professional productions at the St. Gallen theatre.
At the age of 14 I released my first (self) recorded song with music video on Youtube.
At the age of 15 I published my first studio recorded single on Spotify and streaming platforms.
At the age of 16 I had the chance to sing a concert in St. Gallen with a professional orchestra.
At the age of 17 I competed in the German TV Song contest “Dein Song” and connected with artists in the German Music industry.
At the age of 18 I played lots of smaller concerts with my own music, debuted in the opera “Zauberflöte” as one of the “little boys” and started to learn more about production, and self-recording.
Now I am 19, I finished school with a bilingual matura in German and English. I have 6 little Notebooks filled with songs and ideas, waiting to come alive. And above all, I haven’t lost a bit of my fascination and passion for music, melodies, lyrics and sounds.
Now I want to grow as a musician, as an artist, as a songwriter. I want to experiment, to challenge musical boundaries, to reach beyond my horizon. I want to improve my singing skills, to write better piano accompaniments, to learn new instruments and dive into artist development, songwriting, production and pop music.
Music has always been a big part of my life. Not only because I took every possible creative extra course like songwriting, singing and piano lessons, choir, sound production on computer, band, music theory and theater. But because music has become my diary, my reflection on the world. It has become my voice.
I once was asked, what makes good music. For me, that’s the beauty of it, that in creating music there is no right or wrong, no good or bad. It’s about the unique approach of every artist to create individual and personal projects.
Although I was mostly classically trained, which is essential for my vocal abilities, I have found my passion in my self-written music. It is my expression of thoughts and feelings. It is my way of telling stories, sharing what I observe, talking about current issues, about our world, social and political structures, the beauty and madness, my visions and version of this world. I want to touch people with my music, I want to evoke emotions and vivid images. I want my music to be an open space where everyone can feel, discuss and connect. I have a big vision for the audience to be involved in my artwork, with public music installations, interactive music videos and personal discussions about themes for upcoming songs. I want people to be able to tell their stories through my music too.
Most of my songs are written in German, Swiss German or English.
