Biography

Swiss freestyle & battle rapper from Wetzikon ZH.

After a turbulent youth between hospital/home and prison, he found refuge in rap:
Booming, dark Golden Era beats merge with eloquent literary puns and concise slang to create a rough image that reflects the street and its harsh realities.
THIS IS MEPHISTO!

At the age of 15, he became the youngest participant in the now 20-year history of battle rap when he qualified for the official Swiss championship.
He has been consistently in the top 3 - 5 for over 10 years and has been leading the rankings since 2023.
His aggressive rap style is accompanied by an energetic performance that can hardly be surpassed and a brilliant stage design.

In recent years he has also been able to prove himself musically through collaborations and support shows for big names in the hip-hop scene.

With well over 40 appearances, 65 battles and a total of around 4,000 concert guests, he is one of the veterans in show business despite his young age.

His name "MEPHISTO" comes from German literature in which a character of the same name serves as a stylistic device to embody the "devilish truths" of our society.
He alludes to the fact that our society, when faced with its darkest truths, prefers to "paint them on the wall as a devil" instead of accepting or changing them.
