Loussona Ground

Biography

Loussona Ground lives and works in Lausanne.
I love experimentation, currently I often work with tapes disassembled and reassembled with a 7 seconds tape loop and play them on Walkman and then in filters.

Since 85's I started to use effects pedals with my electric violin (5 strings) and since then I also use effects like:
Korg NTS-1, Korg Monotron, Korg M3R, Gakken SX-150, Doepfer Dark Energy, Zeta 5 string electric violin and MIDI, Degeorges 5 string electric violin, classical violin, Tenori,
Looper Boss RC-30, 45000 EHX, POD xt Line6, Delay Canyon EHX, Kawai K-1 (my very first...) Sampling with Boss SP-505, Micro Freak Arturia, Volca bass, and I promised not to buy anything more...( well, in April I bought a walkman at the Flea Market...and after 12) and then the Andalusian range on my mother's side and the pictorial side on my father's side hence the very personal video support to some quite hypnotic and enigmatic music.
Normally, Loussona Ground, I'm more into electric violin and collaborate with other musicians (Consor, Les Nouveaux Teinturiers and soon SFB) but here, a bit of experimental electro was invited in the field of possibilities.
I like to compose with tape synthesizers, an old analog synthesis module and the warm sound of a stand-alone analog synthesizer and a lot of fiddling ;-))
