Biography
Cree/Métis woman Liza Jayne Brown, who grew up North of the Saskatchewan River. She fell in love with music world at a young age, when she discovered the mysterious and exciting qualities of music which suited her introspective nature.
She is greatly influenced by classic country, folk, rhythm and blues; but she loves many other genres. She would describe her music as Contemporary Aboriginal/Country/Folk/Blues genre. Her first CD is titled “Facing the Storm” and the songs on it are about love and heartbreak, survival, remembering, resilience, joy in life, and letting go and being open to new growth.
