It's easy to lose yourself in the world of Lily Claire's music. Gentle rhythms carry her delicate voice, telling stories in French. Pensiveness and melancholy, but also a breeze of hope resonate in her chansons and invite you to daydream. The new EP "Fleur fanée" ("withered flower" in French ) symbolises the lifespan of a person. Like flowers, a person grows with their experiences over the years and slowly withers towards the end of their life unKl they die. In "Souvenir", Lily Claire sings about the memories that can remain alive even after death if you keep telling them. The end of existence does not necessarily have to be absolute. "Le Vent" and "Respire" celebrate life happening in the moment. "Retourne Toi" is a romantic love story that began thanks to a second chance and now looks back on a fulfilled life. "Fleur fanée" is the sophomore album of the Swiss artist with roots in Paris. Lily Claire began teaching herself to play the guitar at the age of fiMeen and later started composing her first lyrics in her mother tongue, French. With her first EP "Val-André", she was celebrated as SRF3 Best Talent in August of 2022 and has since performed on over 30 stages throughout Switzerland. Lily Claire radiates a visual elegance that is also reflected in her music. The fashion label "Maya Seyferth" did not fail to noKce this. She commissioned Lily Claire with the Ktle track for her appearance at the renowned Paris fashion show. This resulted in the single "Le Vent", which is now also part of the new EP "Fleur fanée".
