Lia Ray grew up in Switzerland in a family of musicians, and knew from a young age that her path would be a musical one. From her first attempts at songwriting on her mum’s guitar to her first steps onto small local stages, followed by a complete reinvention during the lockdowns of 2020, she has found her voice in a bright, poppy style mixed with darker undertones that draws listeners into her world and reflects both painful experiences she has been through and the cautious optimism of getting through them.
