KNOBIL

Biography

KNOBIL is a chanson, post-bop and glittering jazz project created by double bassist, singer and
and composer Louise Knobil. Influenced by Esperanza Spalding, Charles Mingus and Ornette Coleman
and Boris Vian, she uses her double bass and voice to share her musical diary
between polyamory, sleep deprivation and pesto recipes.
The artist performs her compositions solo or accompanied by her knodisciples: Chloé
Marsigny (bass clarinet) and Vincent Andreae (drums).
