Meaningful and moving, Julie Fox's music is reminiscent of a walk in the snowy woods, or the relieving feeling after climbing a mountain, catching your breath and gazing into the distance. The songwriter writes profound songs and from quiet observation tries to capture the beauty of nature as well as the stories of people and of ordinary everyday life in a warm, folky sound. No drama, but authenticity and real life.
Julie Fox feels at home all over Switzerland. The Ticino native has lived in the German- speaking Grisons for several years and has collaborated on her EP with a producer from Lausanne. Just as access to different languages has been easy for her since childhood, so easily and playfully she receives words and melodies and transforms them into songs.
