Biographie

Jovislash AKA Inkosi Yama
Punchparagraph is an intensively driven
beatmaker, rapper, Songwriter, dancer
and a stand-up comedian based in
Alexandra Township, ZAR. He’s no
ordinary rapper as he fuse his dance
moves, facial expression and involves the
crowd a lot when performing on stage.
Jovislash has released internet-singles
since 2009, mostly taken from his
mixtapes The Prologue (2009) and Inkosi
Yama Punchparagraph (2011).
Jovislash has devoted his life to music
production specialising not only in hip
hop but also in house, electro, dub and
kwaito. He has by far produced/been on
same tracks with the likes of Flabba, LTido, Infa, Sean Pages, Red Button,
PhatPro and a lot of emerging artists. He
has also had an opportunity to share
‘stage with most of prominent South
African musicians including the likes of Big Nuz, TKZee, Pro (Kid), Psyfo, Bucie, Donald,
Ms Cosmo, Cash-Time, the list is endless.
Besides music, Jovislash is a Radio Producer and brand ambassador of Uzoba Strong Street
