Biography

The London-based Electronic-Indie act IRJA was founded by the Swiss musicians Colin Lanz & Basil Steiner. Their ethereal but yet so earthing music allows an audience to float through sonic atmospheres whilst being tied to the ground. Their analogue approach in music allows them to experiment with textures and vintage warmth. The synth-heavy soundscapes always find company in honest and fragile instruments. IRJA’s music smoothly blends a singer & songwriter’s intimacy with Berlin-inspired electronic dance music.
IRJA, ancient Greek for ‘woman of peace’, allows both the musicians to express their fragile and sentimental character traits. With that project, they would like to cherish some of their companions – the strong women of peace by their side.
Their debut single ‘It’s all yours’ will be released on the 5th of March 2021 on all major streaming services. The song will be followed by several other singles and their debut EP ‘AURA’ in Summer 2021.
