Biography

HOUSEBACK, a Swiss rock band inspired by blues, was founded in 2019 by singer Shirley Geen (lyricist) and guitarist Paul Silver (Paul Quadri, Swiss-French singer-songwriter and composer).
Influenced by Aerosmith and Beth Hart, it is the alchemy of their sounds, semantics and sensitivities that has created these beautiful, haunting melodies.
Silver`s captivating and intoxicating music and Geen`s slightly offbeat and at times explicit lyrics bring to life original pieces which evoke human emotions of love, friendship, passion and anger but also the sometimes painful nature of human relations. The unique and rich vocals blend intimately with the music composition.
At the end of 2019 they recorded and produced an album comprising five tracks ready for performing in concert.
Confident and motivated to move forward, the duo have been joined by bass player Ray Bürgin (ex PMT) and drummer David Tille (Tweek).
HOUSEBACK is now complete and ready to go on stage !
