Biography
Goran Injac aka GG (born 2007 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) is a 15-year-old Swiss/Canadian hip-hop artist of Serbian descent.
On June 4, 2020, just at the age of 12, he released his first single "World Rapbsurdy By A 12-Year-Old". The song describes the way people are controlled and manipulated in today's world. This single comes out amid Covid-19 pandemic and the murder of George Floyd. The song is ending with a message: "We must react on each hidden goal, and maybe this song is our wake-up call". It is a strong message to the world by a 12-year-old. The word 'Rapbsurdy' is a combo of 'Rap', 'Rhapsody' and 'Absurd', incorporating the meaning of all three words in the song title.
On August 26, 2020 GG released his 2nd single “Material Heart”, a song describing a relationship between a ‘material girl’ and a ‘love-seeking’ boy.
On November 9, 2020, GG released his 3rd single “Wanna Be A Rapper” aiming to show how young people are influenced with their future choices.
On April 15, 2021 the single “Show Me Your Best Moves” came out. The song describes a guy’s thoughts after meeting a ‘dancing girl’ during a rainy night. The beats are strong, and the flow is smooth.
On October 13, 2021 GG’s 5th single “Tattoo My Name” was released. It is a story of a troubled relationship between a rapper and a girl ending up with an invitation for getting tattoos (…”Tattoo my name, I’ll do the same”). The beats are strong and catchy. Lyrics are composed for a perfect flow.
On October 04, 2022 GG released two singles “Dance Me To The Moon” and “City Name”. “Dance Me To The Moon” is a love story with catchy beats and lyrics, aimed to be a relaxing everyday song and for a broad audience. “City Name” is GG’s most mature release so far with catchy beats, improved rap style, deep-meaning lyrics, and improved audio recording/mixing. It is a song depicting typical life of a teenage boy who is into rap and friendship.
GG started showing interest in hip-hop since he was seven following Eminem, Drake, Jack Harlow, Juice WRLD, 50 Cents, Travis Scott, 2Pac, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, The Kid Laroi, DaBaby, Playboi Carti, NLE Choppa and other popular hip-hop artists while spending time on rapping and drumming. Besides hip-hop, GG’s passion is basketball.
