Biography

Ean2 is Colin Lanz’ result of years of writing and producing music. Being involved into a few band projects and producing for a lot of people, the artist wanted to get his own music out. Having songs written in very different styles, but still with a common ground, made him start ‘Metanoia’ and ‘Metaphysics’. ‘Metanoia’ – ancient Greek for change of life – displays the different musical influences Ean2 took in since moving to London from Switzerland
in September 2017. It is spiced with electronic and pop influences. ‘Metaphysics’ is rather the heavy alternative
ego of the artist with darker songs. Both EPs try to answer fundamental questions of life – desire, love, lost, tears and addiction. Therefore, the producersongwriter takes a step back from singing but involves five of the most soulful singers he knows. Marius Bear, FVRmind, Andrew Fence (Quintessenz & Selfoss), Young Mayson and Konrad Knap all perform on Ean2’s songs.
