Biography

HEAVY ROCK FROM WESTERN SWITZERLAND

Powerful, melodic and efficient rock that alternates tense riffs and electric anger. DIVISION 4, based in the region of Bulle (Fribourg, Switzerland) borrows from different styles: grunge, stoner, garage, metal. Their influences are Foo Fighters,
Deftones, Queens of the Stone Age, Lacuna Coil. DIVISION 4 is Julie Defontaines (vocals), Vincent Delobel (bass), Christophe Mauron (guitar) and Patrick Mauron (drums). The band played at the Bad Bonn in Guin, at the Prisons in Moudon, at the
Caravane Tour and at the Festival du Gibloux. They have opened for Emilie Zoé, The Last Moan, Honshu Wolves, Killjoy and Francis Francis. The single "Blood Sister" was broadcast on Radio Cité Genève from May 1 to 22, 2019. The videos "Blood Sister" and "Running Out Of Time" are published on La Télé in summer 2022 (Juke Box programme). The name of the band is inspired by the building where its rehearsal space is located: the "division 4" of the former psychiatric hospitals of Marsens.
