Biography

DeCana is a 25-year-old, Ivorian newcomer artist and songwriter now living in Switzerland. He puts a lot of thought into his lyrics, which is why they are thought-provoking and always have a special meaning. Though you can also come across different kinds of songs that put you in a good mood and want to make you dance.

His interest in music started growing stronger in 2003 while watching 50 Cent’s « No Mercy, No Fear » concert. At that point he realised, that it is also his dream to one day perform his music in front of a large group of people. He got his real inspiration for his lyrics a few years later while being in a rough phase in his life. To help him cope with his emotional distress, he started expressing it in the form of music.

DeCana began making music professionally in 2016 and has since released several mixtapes, singles and even dropped his first album in 2019. His deep lyrics in English and partly in French call for international recognition.
