Biography
Dan Sheehan is an American born singer and songwriter who records with, among others, Swiss keyboardist Patrick Moraz (Mainhorse, Yes, the Moody Blues) of Morges. Dan is sharing his collaborations with Patrick on mx3.ch Their most recent collaborations are featured on the album Tales from Earth Incorporated, a concept album about global economic injustice tackling issues such as climate change, drug cartels, blood diamonds, sweat shops, and the plight of indigenous peoples. "Wishing Well" is about three countries already facing consequences of rising tides from global warming (Kiribait, Maldives and Bangladesh). "Kimberley" refers to the Kimberley Protocol to stop blood diamonds, and how it did not originally help those enslaved by Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe to work in his mines to support his regime. Dan and Patrick also collaborated on The Dan Sheehan Conspiracy's 2013 album Are You Conspirienced? on the tracks "Dark Summer" and the Latin rock instrumental "Tu Mochila Esta Abierta."
