Biography
Cyril Boehler is a composer and music producer known for his creative work for film and visual media. His versatile musical approach has proven itself unique and memorable over time and the impact of his music has enriched many films and stories. Emerging from behind the scenes, Cyril has also released successful and acclaimed music as a recording artist.
Cyril wrote and produced music for many feature, documentary and television films, including TATORT, WILDER and the BAFTA winning LATE SHIFT. And as a creative audio producer he contributed music to interactive media as well as to award-winning commercials and many TV- magazines on art and culture (like SRF Kulturplatz and Sternstunden)
In the 2000s he recorded numerous EPs and two full albums, first under the name of Tweak and then later as Zwicker, combining electronic music with songwriting. His releases have received generous praise and consistent airplay in a number of countries. Some of his works, like his track with Afro Drummer Tony Allen or with singer Heidi Happy on Compost Records, reached millions of streams on various platforms.
