Biography

Seeing tradition as a starting point and not as a definitive border, Chiflapacú unites the essence of Argentinian folklore with the quest for new sounds and textures. The streets of Basel were their first stage. From then on the group developed and found its way into several venues around Switzerland, always keeping a genuine contact with the audience. Their first EP includes classics of the genre and compositions of their own. A new refreshing air for the folklore, born in the cold alpine valleys and envisioning the infinite southern pampas.
