Biography

CANT sat down in the Summer of 2020 with a bottle of Tequilla and no idea what they wanted to write.
With Alon Ben’ lofty drums and Luc Montini on keys & production songwri- ting quickly opened up. Allowing Melchior Quitt & Sean Claassen to drop musical bagage and move around easier within the songs.
The result was over 12 songs written & recorded in 5 sittings. The sound ranges from one take running rants like “Sound Of Tonight” to soft discoes- que, drug inspired ballads like “Look At The Dodo”.
Outright brutal industrial sounding “Finite” sits along the cool night riding of “Bosozuku” - an ode to the Tokyo biker gangs of the 80‘s.
CANT is strange and seductive, a temple to too much but just right.
