Bumblebees

Biographie

After exploring the outer space for the last years, the shuttle carrying the Bumblebees has landed in the middle of the sea and transformed into a tiny paper boat. At the beginning it was hard to keep the delicate boat afloat and the rough waves were whirling it around like grains of sand in the wind. But once the storm calmed down, the sunrays turned the water surface into a golden pond to lightheartedly sail for unexpected possibilities. There is a
balance, it is precarious, let’s do everything to keep it standing.
Musically, this change is heard in a newly acquired predilection for dancy rhythms, knowing that, just like the spacy reverbs kept the shuttle flying, only this motion will keep the boat afloat. Dreamy moments intercalate the exuberant explosions of sound, and the listener dives in a sea reflecting the band’s omnivorous appreciation of music. Waves of dream pop, garage rock, new wave and electro pop merge in a vibrant whirlwind where everybody will be free to let loose in the enveloping spiral.

On May 17th 2019 they released their debut album Dancing Dots In The Dark via Radicalis. The new songs have already been played in many shows and achieved very good reactions from both audience and press. In spring 2020 they released a new videoclip which got featured on LesInrocks and Rolling Stone France to name a few. Unfortunately, due to Coronavirus they had to cancel their tour in Germany and France. In 2020 they also released a series of remixes of some songs of the debut album.

In 2022 they will release their second album <3
