Biographie

Born on the 27th of February 1978 in Zurich Switzerland, thirty years too late to live through Elvis' golden times and still, the king inspired him to pick up a guitar... at the age of seven, he got his first guitar lesson... of course on a spanish guitar. Years later after he bought his first Les Paul guitar in a small second hand shop in a side street in Memphis Tennessee, it was clear... that's the right way to go... Rock n Roll.

Inspired by jimmy page, slash, eric clapton, richie sambora, mark knopfler and a dozen other great guitar players it became clear that a marshall amp and a wah-wah will never leave his side.

At the age of 15 he joined a band called 'lö schanal' (www.schanal.ch). Punk-Rock was the way to go... first tapes and CDs have been released and the band toured through Switzerland, Germany and Poland. As it happens, the band grew older, wiser and with that, the music took on a different style. Let's simply call it Rock ... more CDs and hundreds of concerts followed inclusive 2 video clips which made it to rank 2 on the swiss video charts. Of course, things changed as well in his private life.. groupies came and went... but one girl though, no..not a groupie, stayed and surprisingly did not run away till to date. On the 17th of February, Sara and Bjoern became proud parents of a baby girl called Joy and married in 2005.

Finally, 2004, after almost 15 years of rockin through Switzerland, the band released their probably best album called 'stinksteiriich' and hit the street for another 40 concerts over a 3 month period. Half an year later the band decided to take a break.....

That's when Bjoern moved away from Zurich-Switzerland and found, together with his family, a new home in London-England.

What to do without a band? oh well, that's simple...he just plays every instrument himself. The first solo album has been released in February 2008. 12 songs, all written, produced, arranged, recorded and mixed by the man himself. The album is called 'all alone'. Half the songs he actually already recorded during his band years earlier.

And time goes on... In may 2009 bjoern released another solo album. 17 instrumental rock songs... check out the music samples or better, buy the CD in the shop sectoin.
