Biography

The influence of the mid 90ies trough their two older brothers whom both of them were blackmusic Dj’s/producers, motivated the Big Boys to get in touch with djing and music. Willing to change something, the urge to express emotions with urban/modern music and the love and passion for it in different genre contributed that the Big Boys are one of the most ambitious and demanded newcomer Dj-team in Switzerland. What makes their success even bigger, is mostly the feeling for music and for their crowd. Through that the twins have gained a very positive reputation – cheerful without being cheesy, phat without dreariness.

From just being at the turntables at Q club Zurich, a week later the Big Boys are already at club Casineum in Lucerne and that with only being 18 years old. With their mixes they are always ahead of time and can bond skillfully; Pop, House, Hip-Hop and R&B in their sets. They are always in touch with the lastest trends but they never forget classics and good old club music. Their gigs are being rounded down by matching sounds and effects from the Quad-Korg, so that the audience experiences live-mixing and a partymood in a special way. From their technical skills you can hear the Hip-Hop influences which has certainly something to do that they have visited the famous Dj University.

If next to Jay-Z’s tour Dj D-Lyfe or with various of Switzerland’s best and well-known Dj’s, the Big Boys always know how to impress with their skills and develop themselves with their talent as much as their unmatchable charm to one of the most popular Dj-team in Switzerland.

The brothers are not only two likeable and charismatic Dj’s being en route. Besides their appearances they produce music in studios, play piano and work alongside other Dj’s, producers and artists, create song-edits and sets for their gigs and also mixes for their community.
