Biography

Atlas Clouds is the solo project of the musician, singer and multi-instrumentalist Christoph Meier. His songs combine the elements of traditional singer-songwriter (piano, guitar, vocals) with great electronic melodies and modern beats. The sad or melancholic to dark songs grab the listener at first instance and never let go. At the same time the deep, distinctive voice gives all songs an unmistakable atmosphere. You can clearly feel the closeness to Nick Cave. The debut album "Close My Eyes" was produced by Atlas Clouds 2018 at Influx Studio Bern/Berlin in collaboration with Luk Zimmermann. The well-known German music magazine Orkus presented the album with praiseworthy words: "Atlas Clouds immediately fascinates you with Close My Eyes. He is able to effortlessly play the keyboard of the emotional roller coaster in the best singer-songwriter manner". In summer 2019 Atlas Clouds was back in the studio to record new songs. The first single Sirens will be released on November 15th, 2019.
