How am I supposed to grow in the shade,
of all that troubles the mind.
The ocean always scared me,
internal waves pushing me down.

Why is it I cannot stop running?
Running from the structures,
that I never chose.
Running from a self,

Used to be afraid
of sinking into resignation,
