this is DIY zero budget , as minimalist and simple as can be , and it was really fun to do .
I wanted to have a minimum of shots as long as possible ,the camera is hand held , images non synchronized with the music , just the opposite of a studio production video.
It is filmed in Geneva at the tramway station in Cornavin , I was concerned about people in the street not wanting to be filmed ,so I just did it that way.
i had to return several times at the same hour to have the camera against the light and have this effect with long shadows .
With the grazing light and the long shadows , it kind of tells a story of life about the different characters that are passing in the frame without needing to film their face , and I quite love it
the camera is a Sony a7 and I used an old fixed 50mm Jupiter 3 from the end of the 50's , these are Russian copies of Zeiss ikon lenses and have a character of their own that contributes to the aestheticsof the video .
