Elyria

Biography

Elyria was brought to life in 2012 in Singen, Germany. What was initially just a studio project by guitarist and songwriter Oliver Weislogel (Stormwitch, Dorian Opera) and singer Patricia Cooney, evolved with the addition of bassist Stefan Mankiewicz (The Sensory) and drummer Sascha Kaisler (Sons of Seasons, Jason Wright, Acoustical South) to an explosive live act.
In 2018, Cooney decided to leave the band to realize new projects. Angela Stadler came in her place and convinced with moving lyrics and her emotional voice. Kaisler's rolling beats, Mankiewicz's sophisticated lines and Weislogel's carrying rhythms and polished solos create their own magic in a mix of symphonic harmonies, lyrical vocals and brute metal.
