Bio:

Soma Cruz (aka Alexandre Gazzola) is a Swiss DJ Composer coming from the Lausanne electronic scene.

He began his dj career in 1998 through different clubs and events in Switzerland. As a child he was captivated by artists such as Brian Eno, Jean Michel Jarre and Kraftwerk and spent much of his youth learning piano and cello at the Lausanne Conservatoire.

Till 2006, he starts producing music alone and with some friends such as Raphaël Parisod aka DJ Volta under the pseudonym of “Bu”, and Yann Delessert aka DJ Yann DL under the pseudonym of “The Cruzaders”.

Artists such as Vitalic, Eric Prydz, Claude Von Stroke, Joris Voorn, Gabriel Ananda, Axwell, Plaid, Daft Punk, Justice, Jeff Mills, Gregor Tresher, Booka Shade, Armand Van Helden, The Hacker, James Holden, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, Paul Kalkbrenner, Steeve Bug, Dubfire, Mr Oizo, Justice, Carl Craig, Boards of Canada, Extrawelt, Tiga, Dax Riders and Aphex Twin now influence strongly the electro-tech-house sound characterizing a wild range of his music.
