Biographie
Over 30 years ago, DJ Pure first discovered the techno scene when it was still in its infancy. From the very beginning, he recognized that this was his world and embarked on a successful journey to help techno flourish. In 1995, after organizing West Switzerland's first 'Afterhours' events (OXUS in Bern and Macumba in Fribourg) and being involved in the development and management of the second 'Swiss Rave-Store' called Absolut Joy in Bern, DJ Pure began his career as a DJ. His original sets quickly gained recognition throughout Switzerland, and in the same year, he performed at events like Futurescope, Atlantis, White Wolf, and Victory. Shortly after that, he became a regular performer at the legendary 'Inka-Afterhours' at Bern's Markthalle. By 1998, he had performed there more than two hundred times, honing his mixing skills to perfection.
In 1997, alongside his DJ career, DJ Pure ventured into the world of media. After his involvement with 'Line Up,' Star TV's techno magazine, DJ Pure dedicated himself to building and producing his idea in the form of a daily radio show dedicated to techno. In early 1999, the project took off, and 'TranceEscape' was broadcast for the first time on the national radio station 'Couleur3.' Today, the radio show is a regular fixture in the techno scene, broadcasting live events from some of the biggest clubs and raves, reaching over a million listeners per week via cable, satellite, and radio.
Even in the early days, DJ Pure knew that he didn't want to limit his musical talents to just playing records. Therefore, in 1996, he embarked on a long and deliberate learning process to become a music producer and composer. In 1996, DJ Pure first crossed paths with Francesco Tedesco, with whom he recorded his initial techno productions. In 2001, they met the Italian producer team consisting of Davide Bomben, Dariush, Ricky Fobis, Igor S., and Lady Brian. Over the subsequent years, DJ Pure continued to expand his knowledge in the art of music production, releasing over 30 mix CDs and 100 songs featuring renowned producers like Mauro Picotto, Phil Green, and Cyglas on labels such as 'BXR,' 'Dos or Die,' and 'Trauma.' Presently, he is the co-founder of RMS Records along with his partner Davide Bomben, collaborating with their Italian friends in the music industry.
